EA today?

HopefulDawg that is not the way UGA calculates GPA. If 92 at your school is a B, that 92 is a 3.0 to UGA. If 90 at your school is an A, that 90 is a 4.0 to UGA. The admissions gods say they can sort all this out but it is hard to see how…they were still importing data 10 days ago.

Dwhite: on the UGA app you have to recalculate your GPA according to UGA guidelines (see preceding paragraph). Big problems for you if your school does not place 9th and 10th graders in AP and/or weight honors classes individually instead of at the gpa level.

Chronome: you know and I know that deferral is not rejection, but it sure feels that way to the applicant. I won’t go into the ECs as that is supposed to have nothing to do with EA, but my child’s ECs are amazing - quality not quantity. Ugh, not a good night.
