Coastal NC here, and nothing in today’s mail. Not to go on a rant or anything, but I’ve always wondered why people purposefully mislead others like what’s happened here. Just curious as to why someone would get their kicks from that, you know?

I bet they hacked into our cameras and are laughing at our reactions to all this. My facial expressions have been epic.

I wish decisions would come out today but more than likely were going to get a notice tomorrow and a decision Friday the way things are going.

I think they’re making it very clear now that decisions will be available online first. “This page will be updated as soon as decisions are available.”

I do find it interesting that they are no longer allowing comments on the admission blogs, and that they put the update on regarding admissions decisions not being available yet.

And so we wait…

Not pulling. The list was after a couple fluke grades. I applied here on a whim

So what are your thoughts? Should we take this to mean that decisions will be released later today or just sometime this week?

I’m just saying, idk why you guys haven’t gotten it yet, but I did

PS I hope your college email isn’t hogwartstogoh

@Lawn23 would you mind posting a screenshot of your acceptance to verify?

Admissions Office just told me decisions will be the “last” week of January and that an email with instructions will be sent before decisions are issued giving instructions how to access decisions.

I specifically asked again will it be positively next week and she responded "the last week of January.

Depending on how you look at things, that could simply mean the final 7 days of the month, which could have notifications coming out the end of this week.

I agree and when I pushed to say definitely next week she reiterated the last week of January versus just saying yes.

I agree with PSBS. Nothing in the mail here in the Piedmont Triad area.

Did anyone get an email this morning about the Pogue scholarship? My friend did.

This is absolutely ridiculous. What’s taking them so long? The Ivies extended their deadline due to Sandy, and still got their decisions out by the 10-15th of December. More importantly, they weren’t so vague, rather, they announced way beforehand when the decisions would be released. UNC needs to re-examine their admissions staff and methodology, as putting their applicants through this is both cruel and unusual (pardon my hyperbole).

I’m wondering what child gets their kicks from their helicopter parents planning college for them? Sorry going on a rant here.

Lawn… Then upload a pic and send a link!!

Hey everybody, let’s play nice lol. Don’t let passions get too inflamed.

I do agree that UNC should reconsider their notification procedures…this is beginning to border on the absurd.

I just called and they said between the 28-31

Bless your heart, Lawn…
