I’ve been wondering the same thing. Austin has been such an amazing energy here. I hope all is well with him and he heard good news! I truly wish him the best of luck! Seems like a great guy!

Looks like Austin was deferred

He got deferred

Is it working for anyone?

Egg–how about making an appointment with the admissions office to ask them that very question. You said you lived near campus, so put a face on the name and stay in touch with admissions. Good things can happen to those who wait.

Well looks like those who got deferred are in good company ( my DS included). Just some more waiting but still possibility of acceptance. Fingers crossed for all of the deferred and congrats to those accepted.

If you have any new good test scores (ex: SAT 2) that you can send maybe that will help you. Another thing you can do is mail them (admission officers I suppose) letters restating your interests in the school (that’s what my school counselor told my friends who got deferred from Princeton).
Last thing I can think of is maybe send them a documentation of one of your latest achievements (ex: my friend mailed a copy of her poetry book that’s about to be published).
