<p>In my opinion, they look for qualities that make you stand out. Whether it be academic, demographic, athletic, or any other “-ics,” the process was all about letting Wesleyan and every other college or university know what makes you special.</p>
<p>In my case, it was my hard work in a particular sport that payed off.</p>
