<p>@ Ju_liaa: there is very little “practical” value in any liberal arts major… that’s the very idea of the liberal arts. it’s not pre-professional training like engineering or nursing, but it teaches you how to think effectively and apply your knowledge and ability to learn in a broad manner (although you probably knew all of this and might be asking more about whether employers will recognize it as a “major”). CSS teaches you how to think and analyze, which are very marketable skills. keep in mind 80% of Wes grads to to grad school within 5 years of graduation…</p>
