Early SAT Prep

Writing Skills is the easiest to improve. http://www.thecriticalreader.com/general-grammar-tips/sat-grammar/item/264-complete-sat-grammar-rules.html</a> Read these rules, memorize them, and take do lots of practice sections in the blue book. If you miss a problem, or are forced to guess, ascertain why you missed it, and then write the corresponding “rule” that you forgot.

For Math, just pay attention in any math class that you’re in, and review principles of Algebra/Geometry as necessary. Once you’re in a pre-calc class, a lot of things are made easier in the SAT I Math.

For CR, read news articles every day. I’d highly recommend NY Times, although others like Businessweek and the likes… Also, if you’re doing a practice section, and miss a question, look at the answer, and try to rationalize why it was. Not much to be said for this section, other than sheer practice, (and don’t infer too much).
