Hi Deeptin, I don’t want to sound disrespectful or shoot you down but your GPA is low for Haas (Berkeley’s Business program) and probably even UCI’s Business Admin. It seems that you have a fairly strong technical background despite your lack of interest in Chemistry, how do you feel about Economics? Your GPA is in line with TAG’ing into UCSD and UCSD is a wonderful school for Economics. They also have a management science program as well as several other degrees you may want to consider. Many people end up with same jobs regardless of a major in biz/econ. It’s up to you though. Also, if you’re bent on UCLA, UCLA’s Math/Econ program is under the math department, not their Econ department. Their Econ department is SIGNIFICANTLY impacted. However, if you can get A’s in your math courses and programming classes required, you’re very likely to be admitted to to UCLA. Just a thought.
