<p>Is anyone considering Economics-Operations Research at Columbia and have good advice in pursuing this field? I am going to be a sophomore this fall and I’ve taken Calc II, III, and Principles of Econ. I will be taking Intermediate Micro, Macro, and Linear Algebra this fall and probably IEOR 3600 Intro to Stat and Probability, Financial Econ, and Computer Science C1004 in the spring. Does anyone know how the actual operations research classes are? I haven’t taken such a course before but it seems really interesting. And if I got placed out of Calc I with AP Calc AB score of 5, do i need to take Calc I again in college for the sake of the major requirement? Thanks for any help.</p>
