<p>I am a freshman economics and industrial engineering major. I really like my professors so far and really enjoy my classes, even though they have been big lectures so far. As an engineering major, however, the requirements to complete an econ major are pretty wimpy. Students do complain about 201 & 202, but you can pass out of these with ap credit. </p>
<p>Econ is a very popular major. </p>
<p>Highest math class is differential calculus I think (can pass out with calc ab), but you can do other things like econometrics which is math related. Also, many people still take higher math classes.</p>
<p>I haven’t taken any higher-level classes yet though, so I can’t help you too much.</p>
