<p>Intro classes are big and very popular (some really great professors teach these classes). My son’s upper level econ classes were small. Econ is very strong at NU. </p>
<p>In terms of math, there are some minimum requirements (look on the Economics department website - link below), but you can make the major as math-y or not math-y as you want. My S took a lot of math and stats classes which he loved, but you can fulfill some of the requirements with other related classes instead.</p>
