<p>I think the only dorm without hallway-style bathrooms is in the Eco House, but it’s pretty far from everything and only has doubles.</p>
<p>The single v. double debate comes down to your own personality and how lucky you get in the roommate matching process. Many freshmen go in wanting a double, and then try their best to get a single for sophomore year. While it may be nice to have a roommate in the beginning, as time goes in many find that they’d prefer their own living space, especially if they don’t get along with their roommates. </p>
<p>I’ve had a single since my freshman year and wouldn’t have it any other way. On the other hand, one of my best friends continues to prefer a double because she hates being alone and can easily handle typical roommate issues. So while most students probably prefer singles, it really depends on what kind of person you are.</p>
