^^^Apologies… I re-read and it says you are “thinking of applying ED”. It is fine to consider two schools for ED as long as you apply to just one. However I do recommend that students only apply ED if 1) they have a very clear cut top choice and 2) there is no need to compare financial offers between colleges. I understand ED gives a boost in terms of acceptances but you really need to feel confident that any college you apply to ED is your top choice.
