ED Decisions

Hey Cider, if I can make a suggestion: Ask your HS guidance counselor to call and inquire on your behalf as to how you can strengthen your application for the “tip.” What you say about the tax forms could be the case, as they might not have wanted to grant you admission with no FA if you would qualify for FA. But from everything I’ve read and heard, this is where your GC can be worth her weight in gold… Admissions folks are sometimes willing to drop hints to GCs that they’d never tell a student or parent.

If it is because of the tax forms, I wouldn’t “complain” too vigorously – that information is pretty clear on their Web site. [Aid Application for Early Decision](http://www.hmc.edu/admission1/costsandaid1/stepsinapplyingforfinancialaid1/aidapplicationforearlydecision.html) Just get 'em in and pay attention to whatever the GC can find out; then keep your name front and center with frequent, positive, substantive updates. I hope geek_son (admitted) gets to meet you this April!
