hey, it’s definitely worth a shot. I just emailed them and they said they’d forward all my papers to H&SS. It’s not like we have anything to lose if we do apply since it’s nonbinding now that it’s regular decision. I don’t think we have to pay the fee again either, although I’m going to redo the supplemental essay accordingly and redo my common app essay, which I think sucked. I say apply anyway and figure our the transferring problem later. Good luck, we both still have a shot.

If on the “Where am I in the process” section,
on the middle of this page, it is written ‘Decision : Accept’ ,

am I accepted?

but why do I get nothing by email??

I can’t release my tension…

Yes, it means you’re accepted.
Congrats!! Which school?

Also, they don’t send out notification e-mails at all.

At any rate, you should get your letter in the regular mail any day.

Congrats yn1106, you are in!!!
The same thing happened to me…check page 2 of this thread…and i got my letter the next day!!

when i was @ CMU during the sleeping bag weekend i heard a lot of talk about transferring into SCS. The students and faculty said that only 1 or 2 students (including both internal and external transfers) transfer students get accepted into the CS program. Good luck though with your college search

^^ argh. (10 characters!!)

How come I hadn’t received any decision information yet neither online nor by mail.

call the admissions office
