question: while i received my acceptance letter without any hiccups, i’ve also yet to receive my award letter. i know it can take a few days for some people, but my financial aid application was incomplete come January 2nd on account of being outside of the United States (think no-flushing-toilets-rural) until mid January. i turned in most of my forms, and i believe the 1120S and K-1s were the only ones left. when i returned, i assumed the window of opportunity was shut on turning in those forms, but i wonder if i made the wrong choice.
should i call the financial aid office and explain the situation or just wait and see?
Where’s the harm in asking? Worse they can say is sorry but no.

update: i called and was advised to go ahead and turn the remaining forms in. fingers crossed, knock on wood, all that jazz!
on a different note, is anyone planning to do an overnight stay in the spring? i’m from clear across the country so that wasn’t a possibility for me before applying, but now that i’m (mostly) in the green, i’m ecstatic about the possibility. i know admitted students day/open campus (?) is april-ish, but after browsing the smithbysmithies blog, i’m under the impression ED applicants can’t stay overnight on campus. maybe it’s a little early to start planning those type of things but i’d like to see everyone else’s thoughts?
I figured out my award letter in the end, but I’m asking for additional financial aid because what they gave me wasn’t quite enough. Fingers crossed ???
