<p>OK - I know this isn’t the point of your post, but is it really true that students tip professors??? That sounds so outrageous as to be a joke article - I can hardly believe that.
Any current Davidson folks want to let us know if that is for real?</p>

<p>Of course it is not for real. The Yowl is the satire page of the Davidsonian. It does not contain actual news stories and it is made up specifically to be funny. If you read the various tidbits on that page you should realize that immediately.</p>

<p>Thanks for the link. Very interesting. I must say I’m a little surprised overall application numbers didn’t grow by more given all the favorable press DC has received of late.</p>
