Those around my area generally find Tufts to be more prestigious than schools ranked ahead of it, including Emory, USC, Berkeley, UCLA, UVA, WashU, Wake Forest and Michigan. Tufts also beats out all these schools (I believe) in average starting salary and average mid-career salary, if that adds to its prestige.
