Do not worry about US News Rankings. Tufts was 18th in Forbes in 2016 - in front of Georgetown, UChicago, and Cornell. Besides rankings, Tufts is on the rise. Both its name and prestige are due for a signficant boost - rightly so from the increasing stats of the incoming classes. I was very torn between applying to the University of Pennsylvania early or Tufts, and I chose the latter; it was the best decision I ever made. Yes, the unenduring “what ifs” make me question whether I could have gotten into a “better school,” but Tufts harbors both one of the friendliest environments and an insanely smart student body. In my opinion, Tufts was the BEST school for me. Senior year will be over sooner than you think, and Tufts will be on the horizon!
