ED verses Regular?

JHU does superscore so make sure you take that into account.

This is just people speculating based on hearsay or possibly based on some limited data like who was accepted this past cycle, but this is not an official threshold held by the school. Keep in mind that students who are accepted are accepted for a variety of reasons and not just test scores. If you’re interested in applying ED to other schools then you will need to determine how much more competitive of an applicant you will be for the other school(s) and whether you want to take the risk of applying ED at JHU with reduced odds of being accepted (whatever those odds may be).

Here is a press release from Hopkins on the ED Stats of the 2019 class: http://releases.jhu.edu/2014/12/12/johns-hopkins-welcomes-1st-members-of-class-of-2019/

Hopkins doesn’t provide SAT stats for ED students (from what I can tell), but ED stats are typically lower than RD stats (you can attribute some of that to athletes and legacy students). An example of lower stats is seen when comparing percent of students accepted in top 10% of their class (percent is higher for RD than ED). While 50th percentile SAT scores for RD are higher than your score, that still means 50% of students accepted had scores listed OR LOWER.
