EE "Unlikely - What to do?

Her second semester grades were straight As (I think first semester she had 1 B). Also she received the award for the best student in the Social Sciences at her high school, received another competitive high school award named in honor of a deceased student; received a community award, etc. We (parents and daughter) prepared a packet with all her second semester achievements/awards and sent it to Wellesley with a cover letter letting them know she was still very interested. It’s hard to know exactly what made them select her, but we made sure they knew there was still strong interest and if admitted she would attend if financially feasible.

So, if you are waitlisted and have anything else you can send, I suggest it can’t hurt to let them know your continuing interest. I know other students were also admitted off the waitlist last year but I don’t know the numbers.
