The answers were def. winter, surprised, and the thing about them thinking that the troposphere wouldn’t have an effect on other parts of the atmosphere or something.</p>

<p>haha I’m pretty sure like shobhit said, it said “surprised” or “surprising” directly in the passage… if it said the confusing thing though too, I’m not sure. I just saw surprise and went with it.</p>
<p>yeah…i found this passage the hardest to understand (the others were SO easy), but then the easy answer choices made up for it.</p>
<p>Winter was clearly in there, “suprised” was in the same sentence they were referring to, and AO an expansion of NAO was also directly stated</p>

<p>For the question that asked about something being significantly less than the average of 60 days, I don’t believe the answer can be “makes it more difficult than it already is to predict the weather” or something along those lines as one person stated they answered above. They aren’t using this method to predict weather yet, so having the average be less than normal wouldn’t have any effect on current weather prediction. Anyone know what I’m talking about?</p>
