Electric razors - recommend a good one that will hold up to teen use

He has that “Old Spice” Braun which seems to be working well after he figured out about how much pressure to apply and to “stretch” his face out to get good contact.

Both of my sons have the Panasonic ARC 4, and they both like it a lot (they have sensitive skin and are picky). You can jsually find it for about $100.

I like the Braun but Philips is OK, see that they get many ranks in http://www.bestsellingreviews.com/Personal-Care/Electric-Razor/

Son likes his Panasonic. I think he bought it at Macy’s clearance table for less than $100.

I’m not sure why this was bumped but since it’s here, I have to throw out that I always thought saintfan was a man. No idea why.

Carry on…

Ha! When did you come to your senses?

About 15 seconds before I posted last night after reading the OP lol

Here is a review at Sweethome.com. I trust their reviews as a general matter. They recommend the Wahl 9854-600 Lithium Ion All In One Trimmer.

I don’t use an electric razor and have sensitive skin. I found the best way to shave is to use skin lotion on my face because that softens the beard and works on my face. It doesn’t foam. I use a Vaseline Intensive Care product.

And using better razors really, really helps. I think the Gillette Pro Fusion is the best but the blades are expensive. I use a substitute: Dorco. They shave as close as the Gillette but are noisier and don’t glide as smoothly, but they are so much cheaper that I toss them faster.

Purchase whichever ones that Costco or Costco.com are selling. You can not beat their “unrestricted” return policy.
