with an 1170 SAT, you’ll need a CSU GPA above 4 to be competitive for CS at SJSU. I am not knocking the program - it is excellent and located in the silicon valley - but, most people change their major at least once, meaning, you are likely to be studying something else after a year or two - and the school isn’t as great in many other fields. With those stats, there are many other options with a more balanced reputation. But, that’s just one man’s opinion.
