<p>Yes, Elon does deferrals to RD. My D had several friends who were deferred from EA.</p>

We did one of these evenings last year, you register in advance, sign in when you get there, and there is a chance to speak to the admissions person (2 were at ours) afterward. So they’d know your D was there, which would show interest.</p>
