Emails?

I got one of these and I would say it was pretty personal. They talked about my coursework, congratulated me on my involvement with one of my activities, asked me to get in contact with people in the the depts. that I want to be part of, and put a lot of exclamation marks! This really excited me because BMC is on of my tops although after getting scholarships to other schools I, like gub, don’t think my parents will pay for it. I really really hope these e-mails are likely letters but I don’t want to work myself up for a major let down. Yet, I think that it would be very very cruel to send someone what sounds like a likely letter only to shut them down which doesn’t sound like BMC. If they were going make everyone feel good about applications they would put something like “We were impressed with blah blah blah in your application however…” in the rejection letters. Another point is that this was a lot like the personal letter that came with the admission package I got from a school that gave me a great scholarship!! So I think people getting letters should be excited but take it all in stride and the people who didn’t shouldn’t be extremely worried.
