I wonder if this is because of FAFSA being delayed
Oh, I guess they can! My son applied to Comedic Arts and it sounds like itâs all or nothing.
My kid was really interested in that one but chose not to because of that reason. Good luck to your kiddo!
Thanks, you too!
Iâm wondering about this, too. It just seems so weird to change decision dates long after applications were due (and well into the audition process for performing arts majors).
But of course, over the weekend I started thinking of other reasons things could be going slowly. Maybe some of their admissions staff has been out (or theyâre in some other way understaffed right now)? Maybe they had technological glitches that slowed things down? It helps me to think of reasons other than âthey have a ton more applicants than expected so fewer people are going to be admitted.â
I like the way you think! Letâs hope so.
Itâs also annoying because now heâs going to have to go ahead and submit his other applications, in case he doesnât get in. âEarly Januaryâ is too close to the deadlines to risk it.
yes, this is the same position we are in. And, my kid was planning to do ED2 somewhere else, but the deadline is 1/1. So how does it work to apply ED2, which is also binding, when the ED1 is still pending? Yikes.
I think thatâs a good question for the live chat folks! Maybe they have some insight?
which is also expensive. Weâve been holding off too
Anyone have any new news?
Nothing yet
My friend called admissions for her son and they told her âsoonâ.
Hmmmm.
Why not be more transparent? So hard to be waiting with other deadlines looming.
I think thatâs frustrating, too. They are asking for complete commitment from us and our students but arenât being transparent about missing their own deadline.
Anything??
Nope. I saw an unsubstantiated rumor on Reddit that some people have heard, but nothing official. No idea.
Oh wow I just checked the portal and itâs being released today by region after 1 PM. Good luck everyone!!
Holy cats. Okay thanks!!
