@aewlmom in OPUS for the Emory tab, it says I’m undeclared as well.
@aewlmom im pretty sure it’s going to say undeclared for everyone because technically Emory students officially declare their major mid sophomore year
Just for full disclosure purposes…we have only an Emory tab and it does have application status and requests under it. And we only applied to Emory, not Oxford. Also has undeclared major even though we indicated one on the application.
Who knows what this means, but my gut feeling is having the “requests” doesn’t mean acceptance or non-acceptance. I think it means something else that we might never determine.
Good luck everyone! Three more days!
I’m unclear is the request tab on the regular Emory portal or on Opus? My daughter didn’t apply for financial aid so she does not have an Opus page.
I applied for financial aid and don’t have an opus…
@karen0 the request tab is on a tab in OPUS. And @aarybalkar, did you not receive an email awhile back from Emory stating how to apply for financial aid?
I just made an OPUS - applied through Questbridge RD.
@thefemalecurry35 Just checked the email. I did got through it but did not scroll down till there! Thanks a ton…
I had sent my CSS to Emory on Feb 9. But my OPUS shows that I have not applied for aid!
They have even received my IDOC documents!
@aarybalkar If you are an international, an Emory financial officer has to manually download your files, verify them, and upload them back. It only means that your documents were not processed yet, they didn’t get around to it yet. So you don’t have to worry about it
@goldmidnight7 FA docs still not being processed is not a sign of rejection, is it?
@aarybalkar no, it likely doesn’t mean anything. Did you recieve an email from Emory (or a communication on OPUS) and a phone call from emory (around like Feb 13-14ish) that your aid application was incomplete.
Also did you receive an email that your aid application had been receieved?
Should be fine
I did not get any of these… O_O
@aarybalkar Maybe because you’re international. When you go to communications on OPUS, what communications are there?
Nothing. Can any other International applicant confirm (one way or another) if they have received communication?
@aarybalkar Call Financial Aid at the university That is the fastest way to find out.
@FoxRulz What time can I call them (with timezone)?
@aarybalkar I’m an international too. My financial aid documents were processed aftet the scholar notifications when I called them and pushed it twice. I didn’t get into scholars btw
Someone on reddit said they received their rd decision in the mail today, has anyone else?
@aarybalkar If you call now you should still be able to reach someone.
