If you are not selected to get into Emory/Oxford, you probably have already been selected for another outstanding college/university. You will end up where you are supposed to end up. You will do great no matter where you attend.

No top 30 school is a safety, for anyone, as many students with top stats get rejected or waitlisted.
Sometimes it is best to be a top applicant and attend a school where you can be in their top 10% vs at a school where you may be in their bottom 50 percentile!! Top companies recruit from everywhere.
Absolutely agreed, you will be a big fish standing out in a pond at those safeties. Please get over it timely with all these rejections and ready for new exciting college life. It is meaningless because it seems like a lottery system and business to these schools. You all are very smart and can be successfully anywhere you go.

My D has an Emory account but not an OPUS account. Does she need one to get a decision? Her checklist is still there
@cothhcalummom no I believe you only needed to set up an OPUS if you applied for financial aid. You’re fine with just the portal. I had asked a similar question a while back and also worried we missed something!
can you guys log into opus and go to the dooley dollars thing in financial account tab and try to log in…what does it say?
