Admissions told me last week it would be by 6pm EST.

I think they were talking about Villanova’s twitter, not Emory’s.
Emory’s decision date is still unconfirmed by the university, but if it did come out, it would likely be at 6pm EST

I’m hoping they are today because the other colleges that college confidential alerted would be releasing tomorrow are correct (as they have notified applicants).

On my mobile version of this website it says that Emory is scheduled to release decisions today. Is that just a guess or is it more definite?

I honestly would not count on it, since it has not been publicly supported by the university. Just hang in there, decisions will be out in the next week and a half.
