<p>What will go through my body as 7 rolls around? My innards will probably explode as my body sinks in my chair.</p>

<p>The only functioning part of my body is my brain. I am numb with anger, sadness, frustration. I cannot get the strength to move, except for my eyes, which are reading the words REJECTED over and over and over again. My parents, eager for the news, are yelling to me at the bottom of the stairs. I am mute. My tears trickle down my cheeks and I see them drip to my tshirt. I have been rejected. I am a poor soul.</p>
