Just applying to Oxford! I will copy the same posting format as OP: I’ll also say where my scores lie on the most recent freshman profile for Oxford.
Class of 2021
ACT: 33 (75th)
SAT: Did not even take it so don’t worry about it 
GPA: 3.76 when I apply (A tiny but above average so like 52th) 4.27W
APs: 8, but will graduate with 12.
Resident of CA, goes to a top public school an is Asian .
Pretty good and unquiet ECs and Leadership.

Hooks: Upward GPA Trend. I have a good explanation for 1st semester freshman year grades, without them my GPA is a 3.86 and a 4.40 so you can see I pretty bombed first semester freshman year. I guess another hook is grandfather went there and is a pretty big donor don’t know the exact figure but from what I have been told 250K+ . Low income family.
Side note: My grandparents recently passed away and left me and my brothers each a fund that we can use for college/grad school so although I am in a low income family we can afford all 4 years of college.
Comments: Emroy is my top choice, that is why I am applying ED1. Backups: NYU LSP, USC, UCB/LA/SB/SD/I, Babson College, Boston College, University of Washington, SDSU, Chapman, and a couple more listed on previous boards.
