No, and as I said in a post above, I would not put Colgate on top. How did “we” decide that? I choose not to pretend that subjective rankings are useful. For example, a successful job candidate has to perform in interviews. Are you going to warrant that enrolling in a particular college is going to do the trick?

But I do like and appreciate “special relationships” and I expect, no, I hope, that qualified and interesting candidates, get fair and transparent opportunities to compete for slots at Merrill Lynch (as you mention!) as they work towards their career goals.

In the absence of any other ideas or justifications, we can wish the best for the candidate’s future - he or she has 4
years to develop his or her plans - whichever college is selected.
