<p>I don’t really understand scholars at a school like Emory. I know people with the stats you listed (minus the 1600) who have not gotten in regular decision. Plus I’m doing much better than two friends who are scholars in my classes. I feel as if half the school should be scholars.</p>
<p>There is no 1600. Highest SAT is 1580. I would be honestly surprised if at least 8 of the 10 people who posted stats did not get in.</p>

<p>i think 75 get in, 300 or so get invited</p>

<p>as far as i know there are 350 semifinalists that find out february 1s. Then they choose about 150 finalists who find out in late feb. They go for the interviews. Some of them get a full scholarship and some get 2/3, but i think all finalists get some money. If you get to be a semifinalist in feb then you are accepted to the university in feb and get deferred to other scholarship programs, otherwise you don’t find out about admission decisions until april with everyone else!!</p>
