Yes. I’ve checked many times in the past two months, er, just for fun. You know, to see if Emory decided to give out decisions REALLY early! Haha.

sorry view admission decisions

that is what i thought too that u need to go under admissions to see

aznnincompoop: Registration for spring is Tuesday the 15th; classes start on Wednesday the 16th.

I called again, and they still refuse to answer. My hopes rest on ten; if they’re not up by then I might just start screaming. I wish Emory had a voicemail so I could leave angry messages. Don’t they realize what they’re doing to us?

how bout we all calm down and go about our lives and let emory do what they gotta do. it should up by today sometime i guess

…but where’s the fun in that?

I doubt anyone at Emory is working today at all. If they told you they were going out today, my guess is they dropped the letters off at the Post Office on their way home and thus, they will go out today. The website specifically says you are notified by US Mail. That would make most people receive it Monday-Thursday of next week. Thus, the date of the 16th last year. But maybe I am wrong! Enjoy the weekend!

i guess ur right tako, it is fun to freak out about this
and good insight bandnerd, i think u might be right

No luck on 10:00. I quit.

Hehe freaking out is my speciality!

And I know you’re right bandnerd, you and Rodney, but there’s still that tiny flicker of hope within me…

It’s ten o clock, and still nothing
I’m glad I live on the West Coast, because I’m not really wasting my day because usually on Saturdays I wouldn’t even be up now! (It’s only 7!)

Did the lady you people talked to on the phone specifically say it would be on OPUS? Or did she just say, you would find out on Saturday?
Cause if it is the latter, then that probably means it will be coming in the mail. But then again, Tako said that the lady said Saturday morning…so that should be OPUS right? lol.

I guess we should try 12:00 PM. Maybe their database messed up and instead of putting it at 12:00 AM, it will put it at 12:00PM? LOL.

Yes, she said Saturday MORNING ON OPUS.

Two more hours of constant refreshing…I hope Emory doesn’t keep track of their missed calls, because I’ve called like 12 times in the last hour or so.

And I feel like they would send an email before putting them online, yes? Haha so I keep glancing at my gmail but it’s always Gmail - Inbox. I think I’ll have a heart attack if it turns into Inbox (1).

ahh how we mere mortals find the glimmer of hope in that which is absolutely hopeless!

maybe for all our faith in emory, they’ll reward us :)

I’m curious about that gap that has started to appear under “Next Steps” where the link would be added. Does everybody have this gap? If not, maybe it would hint at who got in or not.

Luckily for me, I should be among the first to get the letter. For EDI I got my letter only hours after I got my OPUS decision.

Yeah I called and asked “When do we find out the decision for the Emory Scholars Program?” The lady replied “Um…lets see…you should know on saturday morning.”

Oh I have that gap under “next step” also. jmw123, do only people who are accepted get this link?

So SATURDAY MORNING! It’s now. Hum dee dum.

And I’m pretty sure everybody has that gap, jmw, because I’ve had it ever since I first got my username/password, and I highly doubt they knew back then if I’d get it or not :P

Well, we still have until 12:00 p.m. until our dreams are COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY crushed :)

jmw, I have that gap too. However I don’t think it’s any indication of who got in/who didn’t.
