<p>What happens if an applicant is accepted for Emory Scholars and then decides not to go to Emory ? Does his “merit award” transfer to another applicant ?</p>

<p>Okay, I think you all need a funny story to help you get through the day…I have not told my d about this thread…She has no idea that this is probably going to happen on OPUS tomorrow…Sooooo, at 6:30 this morning, she comes into my room and says, “Have you seen my Emory sweatshirt? I haven’t worn it in awhile and I can’t find it…” Well, I don’t believe in Karma or fate, but she left for school…Don’t you know that I turned her room upside down to find it??? Is this a sign??? LOL Good Luck to everyone tomorrow!!! There is no way my d will be semi, but hopefully her application was strong enough for admissions to admit for RD…Unfortunately, we will probably have to wait for April…</p>

<p>darn OPUS. But if you log-in and click on the “Learner Services” link at the top, then “Admissions” then “View Admissions Decisions,” I think that’s the website where we’ll be directed to get the decisions! Unfortunately mine says “No matching values were found.” :(</p>

<p>I would imagine that you would get an e-mail notifying you, but who knows…How are they doing this on OPUS? Can someone who was notified on OPUS last year, chime in…Is there a place for Scholar Notification?</p>

<p>My post #19 shows how they had kids check last year – OPUS hasn’t changed much so the process will be similar I would think. This is a very busy thread – couldn’t believe I had to go all the way back to page 2 to find my post from just 2 days ago.</p>
