I believe they are need aware for that group in terms of the need-based aid pool. I think one would be better off aiming for a merit scholarship: https://apply.emory.edu/financial-aid/international.html . Maybe for very qualified candidates, they are likely to at least consider a liberal arts scholarship or something partial to avoid pulling from the need aid pool. Don’t know.
