This is the problem. You and so many kids set this notion that I must go to x school. And it’s not true - most especially in CS.
There are many schools where admission isn’t that hard. But yea the major is hard so you will likely be challenged no matter where you go.
But competitive to the point you can’t get in.
Not even close. Sorry.
You can study CS at hundreds of colleges that would love to have you.
When you are ready, do a chance me or ask for ideas - if you tell us what you’re looking for.
Top 20 isn’t it.
Size, region, environment (rural, urban, etc, and the most important thing - budget.
But honestly your panic is self caused. There is zero reason.
