engineering at Tech

You do not pay tuition to GT during co-op.

well u can choose not to co-op but then you’ll have to enroll out of the co-op program, once u decide not to co-op…

also gt08 let me clarify my points…What i meant wa that at most schools (like my current one) people usually go to co-op for a term+2-3summer months…For eg…if at my school if i co-op for say spring term then i start co-op from January and continue till the end of july (so summer is included) and therefore i cannot take a summer term…is it the same way at Gatech or do people at gatech only co-op for like Jan-May (4-5 months) and not for the summer???

Precisely …
In GT, ppl only co-op from january-may or whatever … thereby giving them the ability to attend summer school at Tech.

I never thanked you for your reply way-back-when. So, thanks!

weenie,

You are welcome. Good luck.

Are all the classes at GT graded? Are there Pass/Fail type options?

I was reading on an MIT web page that in the first semester at MIT, classes are graded Pass/No Record. In the second semester, MIT grades as A/B/C/No Record. If you were getting a D or an F, you would get “No Record”.

All the required classes are graded, no Pass/Fail

How is the undergraduate biomed. at GTech? I have seen that the graduate school is ranked 3 by U.S. News, but Im never sure how accurate those are. Are there any currunt biomed. students who could give me an idea of how strong they feel the program is? How are the job prospects for internships/co-ops and after graduation?

GT08-My daughter just began her classes today. She went to Issaquah High. We met 4 other students from Washington state during Faset last week. (Sammamish, Kirkland, Auburn and Cheney) You are not alone but very outnumbered!
