but it says sang, or often sung… this dictionary reference gives no CLEAR distinction

what about the walker thing?

(=

wait a minute…ignore my dictionary comment…
I think that the gramtically correct way to say it is “sang,” but it is often referred to as “sung”
Heck, I don’t know.

Maybe ACT will throw that question out since either answer seems acceptable.

I know I put sung originally, but I can’t remember if I went back and changed it to sang. I had of which, but I think I changed it in which…not sure, I might have left it of which… ugh. Also, I got induce and progress as well.

I thought Eng was a little harder than usual, and a little different. I keep taking retired tests and getting 33-35, but I didn’t feel sure about this test at all. I count on my eng to be high to make up for the others.

Does anyone remember the in which of which question??
Also, can anyone answer my question about Madam Walker?

Was one of the choices insert after first paragraph (for madam walker)? I think I put insert after first because, in the subsequent paragraph, it began with “Madam Walker”

If not, I probably put second…

Please and thank you

I chose whichever paragraph came directly before the one that used Madam Walker. I think it was the second one, but I can’t remember very well.

thanks!!!

I think it was after the second… (if the third was the one starting with “madam walker” like I think it is.)
either way I put it before the same paragraph.

No it was definitely after the second. Still can’t believe it was sang. Danget I usually score 35/36 on the English…I doubt I will this time though.

Yeah, I’m 100% positive it was after the 2nd paragraph, in which she mentioned she marrying the man and having the name.

Sang is singular.

The choir sung.

I sang in the choir.(lol, i only knew this from a scholarship application)

There was ques on madam waker… it was like " the industrilist(, … Waker,)…
Do u guys remember tat?

Umm… I don’t. Sorry. Perhaps someone else does. >.<

The ques on the name of the person, wheter there were perenthetical commas on the name?

it was after the second paragraph…

do yall rememebr the order of sentences?

I said sang, changed it to sung, and then I think I went back to sang.
I hope it was sang.
and I did put parenthetical commas around the persons name…

I’m pretty sure there weren’t any commas necessary…at least if I’m thinking of the same one. I believe the sentence was something like “…twentieth century painter blah blah…” The name is necessary because there are multiple twentieth century painters. Now if it had said “…the twentieth century painter…” I think commas would be appropriate.

I vaguely remember not putting commas.
