I do not believe my D’s proctor is a teacher. Not sure if she taught in the past but at this time I don’t believe she is. Daughter is doing much better after a couple of days. Took her to the eye doctor on Monday and they couldn’t fix her broken glasses so had to get her new frames. She was able to find ones similar to what she had so that was good. She also found out on Monday she didn’t get section leader for her Cello section in orchestra so that should be the final bad news for her. It was just a bad and stressful weekend but she is doing much better now.
We discussed last night about doing the visit to her OOS option and she looked at the virtual tour and wants to go so we are getting that scheduled. As for an alternate major, I don’t think she wants to do that especially knowing that we do have OOS options that we can afford and that she can get into. Sure it would be nice if she could stay 1 hour away from home and instate but being 7.5 hours away OOS wouldn’t be bad for her either, especially with the program being a very high ranking one. I went 10.5 hours away to school where I didn’t know a single person and survived so it wouldn’t be the end of the world if that is what she has to do.
I appreciate the comments and advice. I’ll update once I know what College Board says about a make up and if there is an alternate date or if it is just a free seat at the August exam. Still waiting to hear on that one.
