<p>I wouldn’t send one in. The chances of them reading it are fairly slim. I would, however, suggest doing the scholarship essay on the application. Even if you don’t need the scholarship, it looks good to have it. I got my GED, and I firmly believe part of the reason I was accepted was because of my essay. </p>
<p>In fact, do any essay they ask for, even if it isn’t required. But don’t send in your own resume and letter, because it won’t get read.</p>
