<p>My friend’s essay was about 1200 words (Common App) and she probably went over 500 for the supplemental essay as well. She got in EA this year but she’s also the strongest writer I know (in my age range) so she most likely used the essays to her advantage no matter the word limit.
I thought there was no word limit for the Common App essay?</p>
