<p>…and she just happens to be my daughter (Kaitlin Hady, 2/C 27th company).</p>
<p>It was quite an honor, and her mother and I were extremely proud of her. Kait was honored at a dinner where we were seated at a table with the Superintendent, his wife and other dignitaries. It was quite an evening!</p>
<p>Subsequently, Kaity was asked to speak at the Stockdale Center’s 10th anniverary on 10/31/08 (see <a href=“http://www.usna.edu/Ethics/Publications/WinterNewsletter.pdf[/url]”>www.usna.edu/Ethics/Publications/WinterNewsletter.pdf</a>) where she was introduced to other notables including Mr. Ross Perot, Mr. Sidney B. Stockdale (son of VADM Stockdale), and Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Donald C. Winter.</p>
<p>The Stockdale Center is an amazing resource for Mids, and the director (Col Arthur J. Athens, USMCR (Ret.)) is an incredible individual. I highly recommend all Mids to check it out.</p>
