I highly doubt at cornell or dartmouth or brown applicants with 1360 old sat’s and 4.17’s would only have a 5% acceptance rate, Theres absolutely no way, where did you hear that?.. maybe at harvard yale and princeton that seems more accurate, but those are the ultra-elite, not really comparable to cal, ucla, ucsd. I also didnt see that the posters gpa ( 3.8-3.9) was unweighted, meaning he likely has a weighted gpa well over 4.0. That would likely make the top tier uc’s either safe matches or safetys, although i have a tough tiime calling berkeley a safety for anyone, do to the randomness of their admissions. If you know top uc’s you know the randomness of their admissions. I also posted those stats (uc berkeley’s ucla’s and ucsd’s) and their official links to refute another posters claimed different stats about those schools, and yes my stats did disprove those numbers, which was the their original purpose.</p>
