<p>@Plainjane- Yes! I know what you mean. It feels nice to know that I’m not the only one who wants to do something great for this society! All my friends at my old school would just say “What are you talking about?” “Um… Why do you want to be a doctor??” etc. And I finally found this on this forum! I guess that’s why we all want to apply to a boarding school. Excellent goals people! I love the diversity! </p>
<p>I guess wherever we all are on this globe, and whatever we may be doing this very second, we all do share something in common…</p>

<p>Idk yet… I used to know EXACTLY what I wanted to do Now I don’t know for sure. I’ll find out my “goal in life” when I’m ready for it.</p>

To find a career that I’m suited to.
To have the money to give my kids things I didn’t have, and of course to be able to send them to boarding school.</p>
<p>And to be content and happy with my achievements.</p>

<p>@ifax-Ah, I know exactly what you mean. Same here. I had a specific goal I was reaching for in elementary and middle school, but then I realized I didn’t know why I wanted to be that. I mean, there’s a whole world out there, and the possibilities are everlasting. Why choose that only one? Do you get what I’m saying?</p>
<p>@scales1994- My dad wanted to be a doctor when he was young. He ended up becoming something else. I have two doctors in my family, and two nurses, haha.

I love this thread! I totally agree with ifax. It’s the same with me. We’ll know what we want to be when we get there. But of course it’s even better knowing what you want to be right now.</p>
