psh i got C’s and D’s towards the end of HS and i still made it to college

there’s nothing wrong with living in a cardboard box and working at pamida

My parents will kill me if I get Cs and Ds.

hey, you get in to the college you [your parents] want to go, no one cares anymore

…well at least if they kill you you don’t have to worry about finding that cardboard box.

i like cardboard boxes

they make great sleds

and they make great houses.

and they make great…food

oh yes. they’re my favorite meal.

My dad wanted me to go to Princeton (strange for a Penn graduate) and my mom wanted me to go to Georgetown. I wanted to go to Stanford. I took the easier way out and just did Penn ED to end it all.

sure sounds like you’re going to be happy in life…

yeah very vegan…high in protein

Yup (in response to lablondie)
/* aslkj;kldsd */

happiness is very subjective

Instead of getting rejected by my first choice and risking rejection from my second choice, I decided to aim for acceptance to my second choice. The worst case would have been getting into Stanford and Penn, but because neither would be binding, being forced to go to another college because they offered merit aid (even worse if I would be forced to go to UMD after getting into my #1 and #2)

ED is bad…

ED allowed me to be done with school December 14.

uh no…you just said you still have to work. no school=no work. you a liar.

I’m done worrying about every little grade. I can get a 3.0 with almost no work. Getting a 3.5 or something more respectable will require some effort. I have an internship on the side which requires work, but helps me prepare for the real world and will help me land jobs in labs for the next 4 years.

you’re a workaholic… a sad workaholic.
