We all are here to learn from others’ experience related to prep school admission process. Personally, I received useful feedback and comments from parents. Some parents advised or cautioned (with a positive tone) me about misinterpreting AO feedback on interview performance. That helped to manage expectations. @mango12_2022 please remember that we all are here to learn from each other. Regardless of the outcome for my daughter’s application, I plan to share my experiences to those who seek it. Stay positive!
Thank you!
Thank you! Sorry again if I sounded negative, I did not mean it that way. I wish your daughter luck!!
Disagree with much of the writers. 70%+ should get submitted to middlesex and similar. Go optional at less than 50. Always submit with 75. 73 and 75 are the same.
An update: My daughter retook the SSAT because a school was requiring it; she was able to improve her SSAT score to 81% with V: 73% (-2%), Q: 78% (+9%), R : 87% (+27%). These improvements are great for morale.
Was your daughter offered admission at any of the schools of your choice?
I’ve never taken the SSAT but this seems really strange to me. How is doing better than 73% of other test takers not a good result?
Because top schools usually look for 85+ or even higher.
it’s weird i know but that’s just the way it is
