<p>George Washington is about four and a half blocks (and the blocks in DC are very small) from the White House. This means that Capitol Hill is about a mile away; maybe a bit more. The World Bank, for example, is on campus. AU is a 10-15 minute shuttle to the metro station and then 15-20 minutes to the Smithsonian station. If you hopped trains to get off at Federal Center South (I believe? it’s been awhile) it would probably be 15-20 with less of a walking distance.</p>
