Extended deadline?! And fee waiver!

dot_commie may have been a special case (lucky for him/her).

Suitcase, what is your situation? If you didn’t sound panicked, or sign up for something special, or turn in the supplement already, maybe it is more broad.

Maybe people from the South received an extension because of the Hurricane…

What I dislike most is the idle speculation without any pro or con verification.

I second that, Nickleby.

I guess all we can do is assume there is no extension, and create the best essay possible in the given time. and if by some miracle that we ALL get the good news…we can perfect the essay we have now.

good luck everybody!

in case I offended any of you by just stating the obvious…whoops, sorry!

it’s just that I’ve noticed that I have been on this forum obsessively and worrying about my stats and what not…and it’s just too late for that. I should just move on (not that these discussions aren’t helpful, they are incredibly helpful, it’s just that I shouldn’t be checking this all day) and work on that essay!

so sorry again…
goodnight & take care, this stress will be over with soon enough and we can look forward to being 2nd semester seniors (or at least I am)!

Okay, just wanted to gloat that I got an extenstion for Chicago. Jan 21. Tsunami extension. I’m in India. Inland, but well, it’s India.

Now I give Swat my all :)

Nickleby, as far as I know I don’t have any special situation! I don’t think it has anything to do with me being from south Florida (I think they would’ve mentioned the hurricanes if it did). I sent the supplement (without the “Why Swarthmore?” essay) PLUS the application fee two weeks ago, so I really can’t make out why I got the fee waiver.
