<p>Are the board tests those crazy Indian tests I’ve heard so much about? >_></p>
<p>Yes, they are. And they ARE crazy. There’s no way of being right on them. If the examiner’s too tired, he’ll cross out whatever he feels like, and even not check half the paper, and it’s still alright. If there’s a miscalculation in the total number of points, they won’t re-do it. Basically you have to live with whatever the Board does to you–there’ve been various incidents like an examiner spilling tea on the paper and not checking the rest, and various people’ve failed. The worst part is that it is JUST these sole marks that determine what college a kid’s going to.</p>
<p>I make India sound awful. The truth is, the education system here is like surviving a tunnel of fire.</p>
<p>Anyway, I did well. I got a 96 in Chem! 97 in Bio! I’m so relieved.</p>
